Our team are highly trained professionals who specialize in the intricate care and maintenance of delicate chandeliers, serving a diverse range of clients, homeowners as well as educational institutions, government buildings, hospitality venues and cultural establishments.
Every fixture is unique, so our process for handling them must be too. We use custom tools and techniques refined over nearly two decades of handling countless chandeliers, and we are as considerate of your home or office as we are of your fixtures. We are fully insured with a $2 million policy, and we arrive uniformed, on time, and ready to protect your space as carefully as we treat your chandelier.
The name Brightmen was chosen for its dual meaning: it reflects our mission to bring light to your home or office, and it represents our family-oriented business. We take pride in bringing light and joy to your space.
The word “chandelier” comes from the French chandelle, candle, from the Latin candēla. Chandeliers began as candelabras and evolved into hanging lights in the medieval period, lit by candle until gas arrived in the 18th century and, later, electric bulbs. We encounter crystal, rod iron, blown glass and antique pieces everywhere we work.

Our founder got his start working on chandeliers nearly two decades ago, learning the craft one crystal at a time. What began as careful hands and a tall ladder has grown into a full service team caring for fixtures across Florida, from family heirlooms to hotel lobbies. The standard has never changed: treat every chandelier as if it were irreplaceable, because many of them are.

Crystal chandeliers have crowned the world’s grand salons for centuries, and keeping them brilliant has always been patient hand work. In the Napoleon III apartments at the Louvre, the Grand Salon’s chandelier, among the largest in Paris, with more than 180 lights, is lowered on a pulley so each crystal can be cleaned by hand.
Our founder visited the Louvre and photographed this placard himself, hanging beside the very fixtures it describes. We bring that same patience to every project, whether it is a single pendant or a hundred-light fixture.
